Beta release 2009 !!! This site is taking over where ChicagoAreaCruiseNight.com left off... For the 2009 year we will focus on cruise nights in the Chicagoland area. Hopefully as the year goes other people find this site useful and will start to maintain regions in other parts of the country. Please feel free to share you feedback on this site with me. If you encounter a bug or problem please email me at admin@CruiseNightWiki.com

What is this site? It's the place for local cruise nights and cruise spots, reviews, photos, and more. If you love classic cars, street rods, custom cars and going to cruise nights this is the site for you. This is a community site where participation is the key to success. If you think this site is a waste of bandwidth then do something about it by posting your favorite cruise night and sharing your photos, opinion, and comments. Please volunteer any information you have to make this site better and keep the cruise night culture alive!

Why this site? Several people have asked me "Why create this site?" I am a software developer by trade and have an avid love for classic cars. I found myself in a position where the organization I work for was going through lay-offs and I needed to update my skill set to the latest and greatest. Needing something to practice on I created this site using the most up to date development tools from Microsoft. Many people think the motivation behind this site is financial. While there are ads on this site they are used to pay the day to day bills of a site and will never cover even a fraction of those costs. I have successfully learned these new skills and as a side effect hopefully created a site that people find useful and will enjoy.
